Born December 31st, 2011 at 12:50 am. 9 pounds, 5 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long. Delivered WITHOUT an epidural…or even a Tylenol. Hardest thing I’ve ever done. Hope to be back to share the story of our beautiful little man soon. Happy New Year!
Abby, I’m a long-time reader (found you via Darby’s blog which I found from Erika’s blog) but I don’t know if I’ve ever commented. My baby girl was the same and length as your sweet boy but I had an epidural. Still the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Can’t imagine it without the meds – you deserve a medal!!! Hope you are able to rest a bit in the hospital. Congratulations on your healthy and handsome new boy!

Sooo very happy for the entire Maddox family….What a blessing, Abby, what a good size boy!!! I know the girls are soooo thrilled! Congrats…..I can’t wait to learn the story!!! Happy Birthday, Jeremiah Paul!!!!!
Congratulations, Abby and Jeremiah! He is absolutely beautiful. Wow! I am very impressed with no epidural. I know the girls are so excited. Can’t wait to meet him.
Such a handsome little man! You weren’t kidding when you said that he was the size of a 7-year old! What a big boy! I’m sure you do have a story to share about his birth. I can’t imagine delivering any baby without an epidural, much less a 9+ pounder. I tried with two of our children to have a natural birth, but eventually I gave in to the drugs and it was wonderful 🙂 You survived and now you have your prize! I know he is worth every bit of it. Congrats to you all!! We love you!
Congratulations Abby! I found your blog several months ago and have really enjoyed it! I too have had my kiddos naturally and found it to be really special in my walk with the Lord. Blessings to you and yours during this precious time! ~Jaime
